Lower the HWRF resolution to 18:6:2 km
This is a configuration override file. This file sets options in the following sections:
- [config] — Sets basic configuration options used by all components.
- [ensdadom] — Configures the domain used for ENSDA, about 30x30 degrees.
- [forecast_products] — Configure forecast output products
- [gsi_products] — Override post-processing settings for 3km
- [moad] — Configure the outermost WRF domain
- [moad_namelist] — Override outermost domain namelist settings for 45 second timestep and 3km
- [namelist_inner] — Override inner domain namelist settings for 45 second timestep and 3km
- [namelist_outer] — Override intermediate domain namelist settings for 45 second timestep and 3km
- [prelaunch] — Replace the override files to ensure timestep is not changed.
- [rocotostr] — Variables to set as string values when parsing the hwrf_workflow.xml.in. This section is only used by the rocoto-based workflow
- [storm1ghost] — Configure the innermost ghost domains in WRF used for FGAT.
- [storm1ghost_big] — Configure the innermost ghost domains in WRF used for non-FGAT.
- [storm1ghost_parent] — Configure the intermediate ghost domains in WRF used for FGAT.
