NOTE : For the NAMv4 implementation on March 21, 2017, the 12-h NDAS was replaced
by a 6-h Data Assimilation Cycle with hourly analysis updates for the 12 km parent NAM
domain and the 3 km CONUS/Alaska nests. All files are now called "nam" and the ndas
naming convention is retired. Output grids made during the DA cycle (now ending
in tm06/05/04/03/02/01" are all called "nam.tHHz...."
On August 21, 2019, the NAM was moved from the Phase 2 WCOSS to the Phase 3 Dell
supercomputer. With this move the NAM runhistory tar file names now start with
"com" instead of "com2"
